Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, and Noel Gallagher of Oasis, have decided to team up to perform a duet together at the Brit Awards.

Chris Martin and Noel Gallagher are both huge fans of the other’s music. Chris is apparently the one who approached Noel with the idea of performing together at the music awards show because he thought that it would be a great way for both of them to end a year of amazing performances and tours. Coldplay has been on tour for their album Mylo Xyloto and Noel has been busy with his first solo album Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. 

The two aren’t just fans of each other’s music, but are also friends. Chris and Noel haven’t shared what songs they will perform together but I’m sure it’ll be a sensation on the Internet for all of us in the U.S. to watch since we won’t get to see it live.

The Brit Awards will air on Tuesday, February 21. Expect Adele to win as many honors as she did at the Grammy Awards.

Houston’s family initially wanted Whitney’s funeral at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ to be completely closed to the media; however the family changed their mind after an outcry from the public. The family will now allow one camera inside the church.

There are a bunch of celebrities set to speak and perform during the funeral, including Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Kevin Costner.

In other related Houston family news, the family is said to be very concerned for Bobbi Kristina, who has been battling a substance addiction for the past couple years as well. The family is nervous that she will suffer the same demise as her mother. The family intends to let Bobbi mourn her mother and then they will try to get her into rehab.

I admit, I’m not a fan of Nick Cannon’s (I don’t dislike him, he’s just there) but this is still very sad.

Nick Cannon is having a new batch of health troubles, lately, and his doctor’s think the condition is serious enough that they told him he needed to quit working and focus on getting better.

The singer, husband and father, decided to resign his position at New York City’s 92.3 NOW radio, where he had his own show, Rollin’ with Nick Cannon.

In a statement, Cannon said:

Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.”

Cannon, who is only 31, told listener’s earlier this week that he’d been hospitalized last weekend after doctors found two blood clots in his lung.

To make matters worse, a ventricle in his heart was also enlarged.

This comes on the heels of Cannon’s kidney failure last month. Cannon and Mariah Carey were enjoying the holidays in Aspen, Colorodo, when one of Nick’s kidney’s failed, resulting in him being hospitalized for  several days.

Cannon will continue to host his syndicated show, Cannon’s Countdown, for now.

Jennifer Aniston will be getting her star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame next week!

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will officially honor the actress in a ceremony on February 22. Her star will be located at the famous Hollywood & Vine, right in front of the W Hotel.

Aniston’s career took off when she portrayed Rachel Green in the hit 90′s sitcom, Friends. However, she began acting back in the late 1980′s, right after graduating from New York’s High School of the Performing Arts.

Aniston made the successful transition from television to movies during the latter years of Friends run.  This accomplishment is something many TV actors attempt to do, but rarely do they find success.

Her film roles include Office Space, Marley & Me (that movie is one of the few that leaves me a sobbing, snotty mess), The Break-Up, He’s Just Not That Into You and Horrible Bosses.

Her next movie is Wanderlust, in which she plays opposite Paul Rudd

In a decision I heartily agree with, Dolce & Gabbana has hired the ethereal Monica Belluci to be the face of their beauty collection!

It was an easy decision for the Italian designers, as Stefano Gabbana told the press, “We are very old friends.  We must’ve met in 1989 or 1990…We really grew up together.”

Gabbana continued, saying “She’s our icon, she’s the emblem of Dolce & Gabbana.”

Domenico Dolce commented, “We love Monica and have worked with her many times over the past 20 years. Her beauty is timeless. She expresses the Dolce & Gabbana woman perfectly.”

Monica, who is 47 years old (what is her secret? I must find this out!) said, ”I’m delighted to be collaborating with Domenico and Stefano on Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up. I have always adored the aesthetic of Dolce & Gabbana and it’s so exciting to be involved with their creative process.”

Do NOT mess with Queen Adele, because she is not having any of it!

French tabloid rag Public ran a cover story in their latest issue claiming Adele’s ex-boyfriend was releasing a sex tape of the Grammy award winning singer. To hype up public interest in the story, the mag’s cover also used images from the tape, which had reportedly come from a smartphone used to video it.

However, those pics were FAKE!

The story itself immediately drummed up interest on the internet and the blogosphere, shocking fans of the singer just days after she won 6 Grammy awards.  But fans initial disbelief was right on, as the false story not only grabbed the attention of the web, but Adele’s lawyers, as well.

Her legal team is now taking legal action against the French publication.  In a statement to the Daily Mail, her lawyer’s state:

‘We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape.

‘Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs.

‘Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.’

Go get ‘em, Adele!

Janet – Miss Jackson, if you’re nasty – may be coming back to television!

E! Online is reporting that Janet Jackson may be taking one of two open judge’s slots for the next season of X Factor.

If this is true, let me take a moment to say that this would be a definite upgrade from Nicole Scherzinger.

Simon Cowell was rumored to have been seriously courting Whitney Houston before her tragic death.  Now, with two spots still to fill, speculation is rampant that Janet Jackson is very much a possibility.  Fuel was added to the fire when Janet artfully dodged Anderson Cooper’s questioning regarding the subject on his show yesterday. FOX has also refused to comment on whether or not talks were taking place between the two, which pretty much solidifies that the two are probably in the midst of discussions.

A source close to Janet also told E! that she would very much like to do the show.

Reunited and it feels so good! That is the case for Glee’s Dianna Agron and her former flame, Sebastian Stan, are reportedly back together! Stan, who played Bucky in Captain America, and Dianna rekindled their romance over Golden Globes weekend, a source tells Us Weekly.

The two were spotted dining at Hollywood’s La Poubelle Bistro (side note: this restaurants name translates to “trash bin”) on Valentine’s Day and “shared a steamy kiss afterward.”

Agron and Stan dated for seven months in 2011 before breaking up to in December.  According to Us, Dianna had major insecurity issues and constantly questioned Stan’s faithfulness while the were were separated for filming.  Stan supposedly couldn’t deal with it anymore and called it quits.  After the split, Stan requested that his friends not speak with Dianna (um…childish much?) and spoke ill of her.

Us‘s source says, ”Sebastian made all his friends stop talking to her and was telling everyone how mean she was to him. Now it’s awkward with his friends.”

So what is the takeaway from this story? If there’s any remote chance that you will get back with an ex, bite your tongue on how much shit you talk about them to your friends.  It will come back to haunt you.  Also, if this is true, Sebastian is a dick.

The repeated Grammy winner, Adele, posed for this cover on Vogue magazine recently and although she looks fabulous, her fans are up in arms over the fact that the Vogue editors seemed to go a little overboard with the Photoshop tools.

Adele has never been a proponent of changing your physical appearance in order to blend in with Hollywood so I have to wonder how she feels about the mag cover and the controversy that has followed.

Guess she will have some time to mull it over during her four or five year hiatus from the public eye, which is a decision she recently announced.
